We appreciate your understanding. RSVP Events is seeking an experienced Wedding Planner to join our team on a contract basis. Role Overview You will oversee the full scope of the planning process—from initial meetings to final execution—ensuring every detail is managed with care and precision. Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in a wedding planning role • Must reside in the Grand Rapids area • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends • Ability to work independently and manage multiple events at once • Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication with clients and vendors • Experience managing timelines and event-day logistics • Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving on the spot • Proficiency with Google Docs and Canva preferred • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift light items when needed • Occasional travel required
