Fall 2025 Event Planning Internship

Are you passionate about event planning and design, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of event planning? This is an on-site internship role as an Event Planning Intern at Intrigue Design & Events located in Charleston, SC. The intern will be involved in day-to-day event planning tasks, assisting with event management, directing marketing projects, vendor communication, project management, and planning. Responsibilities • Assisting with full-service wedding design and event coordination of events taking place this fall • Participating in the creative design process, including mood boards and decor concepts • Social Media and Marketing Projects • Participating in the production of a large-scale festivals including Charleston Wine and Food Festival • And So Much More! Qualifications and Requirements • Must be available to work 10-15 hours per week during Fall 2025 • Reliable transportation for on-site event support • Pursuing a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required) • Strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Event Planning and Event Management skills • Communication skills • Project Management skills • Ability to work well in a group setting • Detail-oriented and organized • Experience with social media and marketing is a plus
