The Development and Events Manager is responsible for developing sustainable revenue streams for Landmarks for Families and will work directly with and report to the Vice President of Development. The Development and Events Manager will be responsible for the planning of events, both fundraising and donor development, including the acquisition of sponsors and auction items for special events, managing volunteers needed to support events, and participating in other marketing and promotional opportunities that increase event visibility, generate community support, and support department and organization goals and objectives. Plan and execute all fundraising events, including but not limited to the annual Gala and donor engagement events.Serve as the primary point of contact for event coordination, including media relations. Applicants should enjoy working on a team and independently as needed.Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision to meet organizational goals.Proven track record in strong relationship building.Cross-functional team communication and collaboration skills.Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.Education and Specific Training: Experience in fundraising and event management within the non-profit sector.
