HEAL (Health Education Access League) is an international youth-led nonprofit dedicated to making health education accessible, understandable, and actionable for teens. Our mission is to improve health literacy, combat misinformation, and empower young people to better understand and advocate for their health.
We are seeking motivated, strategic student volunteers to join HEAL’s Fundraising Team and help support the organization’s growth and long-term sustainability. Fundraising Team members play a vital role in securing resources that allow HEAL to expand its programs, outreach, and impact.
Responsibilities Fundraising Team members may contribute in one or more of the following areas:
Research potential funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donation sources Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives Identify potential sponsors, donors, and partner organizations aligned with HEAL’s mission Support outreach and communication with prospective supporters and collaborators Help develop fundraising materials, sponsorship decks, and donor communications Brainstorm creative fundraising strategies and community-based initiatives Track fundraising progress and assist with goal-setting and reporting Team members help build the financial foundation needed to sustain and grow HEAL’s mission.
Qualifications We are looking for applicants who are:
Passionate about nonprofit impact, community advocacy, or social change Interested in fundraising, business development, strategy, or nonprofit operations Strong communicators with interpersonal and relationship-building skills Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing projects and follow-ups Creative thinkers who can identify opportunities and generate new ideas Previous fundraising experience is helpful but not required. Students from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
