About the position
The Engineering Student Organization Travel and Event Coordinator will assist the College of Engineering various registered student organizations (RSOs) with planning and executing conference travel, events, hosting speakers, etc. Duties will include working with RSO to secure funding from sources such as ASG; booking flights, lodging, and registration for RSO members; and helping with event planning. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas as a full-time graduate studentMust be admitted into the graduate school and accepted into a graduate degree or certificate programMaintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 on all work taken for graduate creditExperience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe productsSkilled in interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to work effectively with limited supervisionAbility to demonstrate a positive work ethicAbility to work with a teamAbility to follow written or oral instructionsAbility to utilize computer software programs or operate fax or copier machinesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenNice-to-haves
Experience with event planning or travel planningExperience with Workday finance, such as processing credit card transactions and expense reportsBenefits
