Essential Duties: • Work closely with guests throughout the planning process to coordinate details of an event • Organize space requirements, times, audio/visual, menus, decorations, activities, and lodging with guests and internal departments • Project management for special events • Communicate with internal staff to ensure quality product and guest satisfaction • Be present to oversee proper execution of the events • Record all event and group details into Delphi • Work with outside vendors and partners connected to groups and events • Handle billing for each group and event • Conduct post event and group reviews and make recommendations for improvement • Maintain excellent communication with Sales Managers, Catering Manager, Food and Beverage Director and Director of Sales This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Office Environment: • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis. • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. Mountain Environment: • The primary physical environment in which this position works is out of doors with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, rain, bugs, sun, high altitude, extreme heights, lightning, etc... • The degree of strenuous activity within the job is considered to be high.
