Job Summary: The Head of Events & Facility Rentals is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events to support the Honolulu Museum of Art’s fundraising and programming goals. The Head of Events & Facility Rentals directs large-scale events, including the annual Kamaaina Christmas event as well as donor cultivation, stewardship, and member events, while ensuring all offerings are in alignment with fundraising and other Museum goals. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism management, or related field, and six years of experience in event planning in a museum or non-profit setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Effectively maintains and publishes the events calendar, ensuring that Museum leadership, staff, and volunteers are invited, as appropriate.
