Role Description The In-House Event Manager will oversee all aspects of events held within the 40,000 sq.ft. facility, ensuring smooth execution from planning through post-event wrap-up. This full-time, on-site role in Las Vegas, NV includes coordinating event schedules, managing client communications, and aligning internal resources such as operations, catering, and technical support. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing event timelines, supervising setup and breakdown, monitoring event flow, and addressing issues as they arise. The Event Manager will also work on budgeting, vendor coordination, inventory of event-related equipment, and compliance with safety and facility policies. The role involves collaborating with marketing and sales teams to support event proposals and providing feedback to improve services and customer experience.
Qualifications
Experience in event management, facility operations, or hospitality, preferably in a large or multi-use venue.Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to handle concurrent events and shifting priorities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Proven ability to lead on-site teams, supervise event staff, and maintain a professional, service-oriented environment.Comfort with basic budgeting, scheduling tools, and event management software; proficiency with common office applications.Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.Knowledge of safety, crowd management, and basic risk mitigation practices in event settings.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, events, business, or related field preferred.Previous experience in Las Vegas or comparable event-driven market is a plus.
