As the coordinator you will be responsible for event planning, managing coordination, and implementation of multiple events simultaneously throughout the calendar year. This role meets regularly with the director of involvement to receive and give updates on all previous and upcoming events and must style with creative and unique ideas to be submitted to the director for approval. In this... position you will maintain photo archives, inventory, and organization of event supplies; lead and attend meetings with all necessary participants; communicate expectations of SCAD standards to clients; and develop project plans, production timelines, and budget information. The coordination of marketing and public relations with appropriate departments will also fall to you. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with related experience in events and conference coordination and project management with solution-based thinking • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environment and multitask • Highly motivated, positive, flexible self-starter with outstanding organizational and time management skills and works well in a team environment • Vendor management experience Certificates, licenses, and registrations: • Valid driver's license Travel required: • 10% to 20% Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday.
