Lead Event Manager

We proudly manage operations at EnMarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre in Savannah, Georgia, and are actively hiring a GBPDSA-Certified Instructor to serve as our on-site Event Manager at these locations. This dual-role position is responsible for overseeing all on-site event security operations while providing Georgia Board–approved classroom instruction for new security personnel. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, staff, and manage unarmed security operations for scheduled events • Serve as the primary liaison between venue clients, staff, and Sentry leadership • Supervise on-site security personnel and enforce Sentry protocols • Respond to incidents and manage crowd-related challenges • Conduct post-event reviews and performance evaluations • At least 3 years of leadership or event management experience • Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills • Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays What We Offer: • Leadership opportunity at Savannah’s top-tier entertainment venues • Competitive salary with advancement potential • Support with training administration and compliance • A respected role in a growing national company • High-impact work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
