The Lead, External Events is responsible for coordination and support of large scale, external-facing Company meetings & events. This role will be responsible for end-to-end project management support of events including but not limited to; venue selection, vendor selection, contract management, coordination of vendors, cross functional business teams etc. You will support event logistics, materials and may be responsible for prepping leaders. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree • Experience planning large scale corporate events (500+ attendees, $500K+ budgets, etc) • Prior project management experience leading internal cross-functional teams as well as external vendors through end-to-end planning process • Experience working with all levels of the organization including company leadership • Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships • Strong presentation skills – ability to present information to large audiences and serve in host roles at events with public speaking • Highly organized • Collaborative team player • Excellent communication skills • Ability to travel 1-2 times per month
