About Us: South Dakota Aerial & Arts is a vibrant and creative performance and fitness studio offering aerial silks, bungee fitness, and hoop activities for all ages. Job Overview: We are seeking a Lead Party Coordinator who can coordinate, coach and follow up with weekend parties. This individual should be able to work independently and enjoys working with kids and adults of all ages and fitness levels. They should have a passion for having fun and leading groups that make lifelong memories. Individuals should be comfortable learning new fitness modalities and demonstrating aerial and bungee skills in front of groups - note, all training on skills will be done on the job. No prior aerial or bungee experience is needed, but it is of benefit to have a strong fitness background.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bungee fitness rigging, checking in participants, wayfinding, and checking waivers to ensure everyone has a comfortable experience.
Teach bungee, aerial silks, and aerial hoop intro-level party sessions to individuals of all ages - class plans and training will be provided
Help move equipment and assist with gym preparation for aerial and bungee activities
Maintain gym operations and facilities, including but not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, washing aerial fabrics, and assisting with other maintenance, set-up and cleaning tasks as needed
Contact upcoming and past parties to ask about their experience and coordinate the sessions.
Be an advocate for South Dakota Aerial & Arts, in and outside the studio

Qualifications:​

Comfortable working with children and adults in a group setting.
Must be available Saturday afternoons and some Friday/Sunday evenings.
Ability to lead parties and demonstrate aerial and bungee skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior teaching experience is a positive.
Ability to provide positive reinforcement and adapt instruction to varying skill levels.
Must be available to work weekends and on an as-needed basis.
Must be 18 years or older.
