The Event Planning Lead Specialist is responsible for spearheading, planning and executing a variety of events for Sunocos key customers... Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Can-do attitude with the ability to think several steps ahead to anticipate problems and create solutions Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders Ability to champion the Sunoco brand and build a rapport with event attendees Ability to effectively work cross functionally with other departments and functions Solid written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate across internal and external teams Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail Superior customer service skills A calm and organized approach to working in high pressure situations Results oriented with a proven track record of leadership and taking ownership that produces exceptional results Education and Experience : Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Event Management or related field Degree in other fields with demonstrated ability and experience also accepted 8+ years of experience in managing customer events Experience with high-end events preferred Proficient with Cvent event management software Flexibility for domestic or international travel Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends, as needed Willingness to travel (up to 20%) My Profile
