Leigh & Co. Events is a rapidly expanding wedding planning company serving clients across the United States. This is an exciting contract position that allows you to set your own schedule! As part of our team for the 2026 season and beyond, you will receive comprehensive training. Compensation is $275 for a project that typically encompasses 10-12 hours of work. Conduct a detailed final call with clients around 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timelines, and expectations.Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are comfortable with timings, processional flow, and critical cues.Serve as the primary advocate for the couple on their wedding day, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused demeanor while addressing any challenges that arise.Oversee the ceremony and reception setup to ensure alignment with the event design and adhere to our day-of execution guidelines.Manage all aspects of the wedding day, from initial vendor arrivals to final breakdown at the end of the event.Act as the main point of contact for all vendors, greeting and directing them accordingly.Clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure harmony with the event plan.Coordinate and assist with the placement of personal touches and event details such as escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and décor items.Provide support to the wedding party and family members, offering guidance, timing cues, and assistance with any day-of necessities.Ensure the secure packing and accounting of all end-of-event items, including gifts, guest books, and personal décor.Proactively manage and resolve any last-minute issues or changes to ensure a smooth experience for guests.Requirements:
