Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company serving clients across the United States. We are excited to invite passionate planners to join our team as a Lead Wedding Coordinator. This contract position allows you to set your own schedule and be part of an exciting journey in creating memorable moments for couples. In this role, you will be the primary planner responsible for delivering exceptional wedding planning services to our clients, primarily on-site. Engage in a final details call with clients around 6 weeks before the wedding to finalize logistics, timelines, and expectations.Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day before the wedding, ensuring all participants are confident in their roles and responsibilities.Act as the couple's primary advocate on-site, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused presence while supporting them through any challenges that arise.Oversee the setup of the ceremony and reception in accordance with the event design and our day-of execution plan.Manage the flow of the wedding day from the arrival of vendors to the final breakdown at the end of the evening.Welcome and direct all vendors, acting as the main point of contact.Clearly communicate setup instructions to vendors to ensure alignment with the event plan.Coordinate and assist with the arrangement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest books, and decor elements.Provide support to the wedding party and family members with guidance, timing cues, and any requests on the day of the event.Ensure that all items at the end of the event (gifts, guest book, personal decor, etc.)
