The Lead Wedding Planner role at The Simply Elegant Group is a part-time, seasonal position based in Milwaukee, WI, featuring a hybrid work setup with a blend of remote and on-site event support responsibilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to be the cornerstone of the wedding planning process for 15 or more weddings annually. The Lead Wedding Planner acts as the primary point of contact for couples, guiding them through every step of their planning journey—from vendor and venue sourcing to design development, timeline creation, and executing day-of logistics. The planner is responsible for managing the wedding day, including rehearsals and event coordination, typically involving long event days ranging from 10 to 12 hours. Beyond direct wedding coordination, the role also emphasizes relationship building with local venues and vendors, enhancing the company’s market presence. The planner will represent The Simply Elegant Group at networking and industry events, helping to establish and nurture professional connections in the Milwaukee area. This position requires a calm, creative, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Successful candidates will possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be proficient with Google Workspace tools. Flexible weekend availability during the peak wedding season between April and October is essential.
