About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Resident Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing engaging activities and events that promote independence, socialization, and overall well-being among our Independent Living residents. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a calendar of events that cater to diverse interests and abilities • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless execution of events and activities • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and volunteers to gather input and feedback • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds • Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with event planning and execution Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in activity programming or education preferred • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
