Logistics Event Coordinator

Logistics Event Coordinator We are seeking a skilled Logistics Event Coordinator to transport and deliver products, materials, and equipment to various locations. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and support while adhering to strict regulations and guidelines. Key Responsibilities: • Drive tractor-trailers to destination in full compliance with DOT requirements • Oversee and assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper loading and securing to prevent freight movement and ensure safe transport • Setup, support, and breakdown of events • Accurately complete paperwork for load picked up or delivered, and review bills of lading to assure accuracy • Maintain driver log utilizing Company provided systems in accordance with DOT regulations • Process on-site purchases utilizing point-of-sell (POS) system • Effectively operate various equipment; including tire mounting, balancing, and air systems • Perform DOT pre-trip inspection • Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition • Accurately complete trip report, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely manner
