Major Events Manager

University Unions drives community building and belonging through the integration of its three student union facilities (Michigan Union, Michigan League, Pierpont Commons), Center for Campus Involvement, Campus Information, meeting/event spaces, retail food, bookstore and other services to support student success. You will report to the Lead Manager for Major Events and Ticketing in the Center for Campus Involvement. University Unions and Student Life Service (5%) • As a member of the Center for Campus Involvement, University Unions, and the Division of Student Life, serve on various committees and work teams as requested. Financial/Budgetary Responsibility: • This position oversees and manages event budgets and accounts for each event, including the creation of estimates and initial settlements for each event. Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment and applicants for this position will not be sponsored for work visas.
