Manager, Event Strategy, temporary

The temporary Manager of Event Strategy will be responsible for envisioning event programming that supports the goals of each event sponsor and communicating that vision to colleagues. The manager will coordinate, prepare and organize speaker preparations alongside the Office of University and Development Events (UDE) team, throughout the planning of institution-wide ceremonial, presidential and development events. • Detailed program tasks may include: creating a program that meets sponsor goals, inviting speakers to participate in events (development, ceremonial, or presidential), creating timed event agendas, working with speech writers, providing content for marketing materials, managing speaker preparation process, assisting with the coordination of talking points for participating leaders and volunteers, leading event rehearsals with speakers (in-person or virtually).
