If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!\n\nDevelop and implement an overall event strategy for Red Hat, in line with the company's marketing and business objectives.\n\nConduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify potential event opportunities and strategies for maximizing their impact.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment of event strategy with overall company objectives.\n\nManage a team of event planners and coordinators to ensure flawless execution of events.\n\nCreate and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.\n\nNegotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services for events.\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with event partners and sponsors to enhance event offerings and generate potential revenue opportunities.\n\nOversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audio-visual requirements.\n\nMonitor and report on event metrics, including attendance, engagement, and ROI, to continuously improve and refine event strategy.\n\nStay updated on event industry best practices and make recommendations for incorporating innovative and creative ideas into event planning.\n\nConduct post-event evaluations and provide insights and recommendations for future events.\n\nManage crisis and risk management plans for events to ensure the safety of attendees and the success of the event.\n\nRepresent Red Hat at industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's brand and event offerings.\n\nMentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth and development.
