Manager of Sales, Events, and Programs

They will be the liaison with Portland Parks for events that will take place on the grounds of Pittock Mansion. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Facility Rentals: Being a unique and one of the most beautiful venues in Portland, Pittock Mansion is poised to proactively expand its facility rental and photo shoot program after a successful pilot and growing interest. They will collaborate with the internal and external parties about the event, ensure the required setup and teardown, vendor coordination, and be the on‑site host staff on the day of the event. The Manager of Sales, Events and Programs will have the unique and exciting opportunity to work very closely with the CEO’s vision and direction and under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, Communications and Audience Development to develop, launch and manage these new ticketed public programs some of which will be launched this year and others that will be built in a scaffolded manner for the future. In this role, the Manager of Sales, Events and Programs will: Ensure that the programs are developed with all necessary details, including budget, volunteer and guest speakers, musicians, or sponsoring partners, as well as targeted marketing and implementation strategies.
