What's The Job The Manager, Special Events is responsible for generating non-game day event revenue by prospecting, selling, planning, organizing, and executing events for the Oklahoma City Comets and Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. These events could include, but are not limited to: third-party events, meetings, parties, receptions, concerts, trade shows, banquets, etc. Job Functions • Responsible for continuous lead generation and the sales process for all events in an effort to maximize revenue • Must be prepared to plan, organize, schedule, market, implement, and coordinate events at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark • Initiate deployment and logistics for private and public events by communicating and working with other departments to ensure complete event functionality, safety, and success • Generate customizable proposals and presentations within assigned deadlines, including written copy and design concept elements. • Maintain assigned budget, ensuring approval of all final billings for payments.
