Marketing and Events Coordinator

Position Summary The Marketing and Events Coordinator will primarily be coordinating marketing and event efforts for our event space(s) and Cartside PDX, with other projects, frequently arising. The ideal candidate must remain flexible to account for the ever-changing priorities and business needs of our taphouse, food cart pod, and event space(s). • Social media content creation and management • Conceptualizing ideas for events, working with suppliers, communicating with clients, and ultimately ensuring that each event is flawlessly executed • This position will require someone with a sales background who is passionate about event planning • Booking, scheduling, hosting, curating, and organizing events • The Event Coordinator will be responsible for reaching out to clients who are interested in renting our event space(s), coordinating all event details, and executing all scheduled events that require hosting and bar service • Build a client list and utilize the space to its full potential in the form of maximum and safe occupancy (this means hosting events as many days and nights as possible and collaborating on bookings for the additional event space(s) • Be an expert multitasker with impeccable attention to detail • Conducting potential client tours, answering questions, scheduling meetings, and creating & updating contracts daily • Be responsible for all sales calls, emails, and other forms of communication necessary to book and plan events in a timely and consistent manner • Negotiate and manage all contracts and client needs • Assists with marketing, social media, website updates and promotional concepts for Cartside PDX and event space(s) • Booking and managing event staff • Occasionally working outside events to promote our business • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
