Marketing and Events Coordinator

Position Description: The Marketing and Events Coordinator will assist with the development of marketing materials used in social media, sales, and community events. This position will play a key role in helping to drive our successful marketing efforts. The Marketing and Events Coordinator will assist in the coordination of the company's social media efforts, internal and external communications, event planning and promotional item sourcing. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required as department needs demand.Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United StatesMinimum Requirements: College degree in marketing, public relations, business administration, mass communications and journalism, or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 1-2 years marketing and events experience, preferably in the real estate industry Previous experience utilizing social media in a business environment Experience with copywriting and blogging Experience with Microsoft Office programs Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and illustrator) preferred Proficiency in Canva (Graphic Design) Experience with Google Ad Words and Google Analytics Creative and analytical thinker Excellent active listening and speaking skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Very detail oriented with a proven ability to multitask Ability to adapt at any given time Ability to think creatively and develop new and innovative solutions A valid California driver's license and auto insuranceThis job description documents the general nature and level of work but is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all activities, duties and responsibilities.
