The Marketing and Events Coordinator will report to the Director of Fund Development for day-to-day responsibilities and collaborate with the larger Urban Hope team to increase public awareness of our mission and ensure smooth implementation of our programs and events. This position plays a key role in coordinating Urban Hope’s interactions with the public through digital and print communications, event management, and maintaining a welcoming office environment for our staff, clients, and volunteers. The role involves designing digital content for social media platforms, editing copy for public-facing documents (including grant proposals and donor correspondence), coordinating event logistics with staff and volunteers, and welcoming visitors into our office space. Event Coordination: • Coordinate logistics for Urban Hope’s events including not limited to reserving event space, event setup/breakdown, designing invitations and the registration process, news media outreach, working with caterers and vendors, and managing volunteers • Represent Urban Hope at select community events to provide program information to increase awareness of our mission and programs • Collect and manage event feedback through surveys • Run light errands as needed for event support that you have created to [email protected] with “Marketing & Events Coordinator Application” in the subject line.
