The Marketing Events Coordinator contractor will be responsible for coordinating the event activities across the US Rare Disease Marketing team as well as supporting the team on a daily basis with budget control, marketing material review process management and more! This is a contract position located in our Fort Lee, NJ headquarters, offering a hybrid work schedule with anticipated hours of 25-40 per week. Works within cross functional teams to ensure that Medical, Legal and Compliance approvals for the promotional activities are requested and timely achieved with support from the Marketing Directors/Managers • Works with external vendors in receiving quote proposals; initiates the process for the creation of PR/Pos, tracks the approval process and informs the team about the status • Manages logistics, marketing collaterals, demonstrations, discounts, advertising, and Facebook schedule. • Contribute to brand updates and business reviews, as applicable and if time permits • Ensures that the Rare Disease Insights report is requested and delivered from the Marketing Directors/Managers on time; prepares and distributes the final report to the agreed internal audience • Ensure that the marketing processes, programs, and internal reports are developed, implemented, and effectively distributed consistent with Kedrion’s corporate guidance and SOPs • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and agency and cross-functional partners • Ability to manage budgets, and effectively track, monitor and manage expenditures against budget • High level of attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills • Creative problem-solver with strong communications skills • Self-motivator with eagerness to learn • Proven ability to work independently • Must possess a strong work ethic, and be an enthusiastic team player • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and work under tight deadlines and pressure • Apply creativity, innovation & out-of-box thinking to solve complex business / marketplace issues • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Able to meet the physical demands of the role as outlined above • This is an independent contractor role where a 1099 will be provided.
