Marketing & Events Coordinator

Essential Duties • Plan and coordinate the company’s participation in trade shows, conferences and other industry-related events to promote our company’s brand and its products and services • Coordinate all related logistical tasks associated with pre-show, during show, and post show follow-up including administration, setup/breakdown, sample coordination, shipping, calendar maintenance, promotional materials preparation • Collaborate internally to develop event strategies, new banner displays, product promotion, objectives and key messaging to effectively represent the company • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement • Maintain an up-to-date calendar of upcoming trade shows and events, ensuring timely registration and submission of required materials • Provide internal coordination & communication with applicable stakeholders • Develop and maintain relationships with all related trade show vendors • Bring new ideas and strategies to trade show program; consistently show improvement and make decisions about future participation in shows • Drive lead generation efforts by coordinating pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns, including email campaigns and social media • Perform competitive analysis and monitor industry trends as needed • Procure and manage inventory of giveaways • Assist with the coordination of internal meetings (sales meetings, customer visits, internal & external trainings) • Travel to domestic shows (25% annual) • Assist with all other marketing projects and general administrative tasks as assigned Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent • 3 – 5 years of proven experience and success in managing multiple events at one time • Extremely detailed oriented and able to multitask • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on a deadline basis • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and event attendees • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience • Reliable transportation to work • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
