Marketing Events Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the MedVet Marketing team. Reporting directly to Sr. Specialist- Event Marketing, the Event Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating in-person events while supporting additional virtual events for MedVet throughout the year. They will be responsible for every detail of in-person Continuing Education events, VMA conferences, as well as other events and meetings that help foster relationships between referral partners and our MedVet doctors, as needed. In this role, the Event Specialist will help with event research, strategy and outline the scope of the event, develop any event themes, concepts or activities with support of other creative team members, scout and inspect event venues, negotiate and manage vendor contracts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to make sure the event delivers the MedVet Experience. • Able to prioritize and perform responsibilities in a pressure environment; responds to management requests.
