Marketing - Events Specialist - Full Time

• Work with hospital departments across the system to support internal events and community presence opportunities. Preferred: • Experience supporting fundraising, employee engagement, or community events in a healthcare setting • Familiarity with vendor negotiation, contract management, and event permitting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, event planning platforms, or project management tools Key Competencies Event Planning & Logistics Coordinates all aspects of event execution with precision and professionalism Cross-Functional Collaboration Works across development, marketing, and operations to meet event goals Vendor & Partner Management Manages external vendors and event partners with clarity and accountability On-Site Leadership Provides calm, capable presence at events and handles real-time challenges Project Management Maintains checklists, timelines, and documents to ensure nothing is missed Guest Experience Ensures every event reflects Erlanger's mission, brand, and care for its community Adaptability Flexes across event types, sizes, and purposes with professionalism and poise As part of the Community Relations team within the Marketing & Communications division, the Event Specialist plays a hands-on, highly visible role in executing a broad portfolio of events that elevate Erlanger's brand, deepen community engagement, and support strategic priorities across the health system.
