Our client in the hospitality and tourism industry is seeking a Marketing Events & Travel Manager to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event/travel planning, project management and leadership - as they will be driving and managing the successful delivery of the North American travel portfolio, as well as managing a team of 3. The ideal candidate will have some exposure to the travel/tourism industry. This will be a hybrid role, onsite 4 days/week in the downtown Chicago office location. Marketing Events & Travel Manager Responsibilities: - Create and develop a tour portfolio that differentiates the business from the market and appeals to the customer base, whilst ensuring a high level of customer experience - Research market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for new escorted tour products - Monitor sales performance, analyze market feedback and identify opportunities for product/travel enhancements or adjustments - Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and schedule travel tours and events, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently - Lead, drive and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the North American travel product team - Building and improving team capability and motivation through coaching, feedback, development and empowerment.
