The Marketing and Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the creation, administration, and execution of a wide range of special events for patrons of all ages and abilities. • Plans, schedules, supervises, and evaluates all city-sponsored events such as First Friday (FF) and other events in Downtown. • Develops strategies and content plans, community management, influencer strategy, paid social media to promote Downtown Brownsville, events, in Downtown Brownsville, and work that the city is doing to benefit Downtown.
