Meeting and Event Planner; Section Program Manager

The Minnesota State, Hennepin County and Ramsey County Bar Associations are professional, non-profit, voluntary statewide membership organizations located in Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota, with membership of over 12,000 attorneys. The Section Program Manager partners closely with attorney leader members throughout the state to shape high-quality legal education, plan meaningful professional events, and foster strong professional communities within specific practice areas (Sections). This position serves as the primary staff liaison for assigned Sections, providing end-to-end support for educational events and networking events and council meetings, as well as guidance on leadership, governance, and budget of Sections to help them achieve their goals. • Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact for Section members and leaders. No legal experience required • Ability to work collaboratively and independently • Good judgement and initiative • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom • Flexibility – Ability to work extra hours and a varied schedule at certain times of the year • Ability to travel to meetings, some in greater Minnesota
