Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $37.04 Per hour based on experience (Paid Weekly)
Term: 3-month contract with possible extensions based on performance
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Requirements: HS Diploma or GED / Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate event or meeting planning / Eexperience in venue sourcing and vendor management

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Meeting & Events Planner to support a short-term leave of absence. This role will focus on managing and executing corporate meeting programs for a single client, ensuring high-quality delivery and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in venue sourcing, and skilled in managing end-to-end event logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and execution of meetings and events from contract execution through final billing
Coordinate all program logistics to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
Source and secure venues, leveraging preferred vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency
Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring legal and financial protection for all parties
Manage program budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and oversee invoice review and reconciliation
Coordinate online registration platforms (e.g., Cvent) and support attendee communications
Serve as the main point of contact for venue staff and vendors during program execution
Conduct post-event debriefs and deliver comprehensive reports to clients
Develop and implement service recovery plans to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain strong knowledge of event technology and tools
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate event or meeting planning
Strong experience in venue sourcing and vendor management
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with event management tools (e.g., Cvent)
Exceptional customer service and client management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage budgets and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation is a plus
