Responsible for site research, visits, contract negotiation & all logistics during the event to include but not limited to budget management, travel and housing coordination, exhibitor logistics, communication with conference attendees, online registration set up and monitoring, A/V requirements, room block management, etc. The Event Planner supervises staff and volunteers at events. Hours of work for this position are either 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Four to five weeks of required travel per year: One week for the Annual Conference in September, one week for the World of Concrete in January or February, one week for Concrete Executive Leadership Forum in June or July. Additional travel required for site visits and regional meetings or events.
