2000 16th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202, United States of America VILLAGE GATHERINGS MEETING & EVENT PLANNER JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Meetings and Events Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of corporate meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and stakeholders. On-site execution to include management of all the above focused on the attendee experience and service excellence Post-event duties, including reporting and reconciliation, post-event communications and survey, invoice reconciliation, charge backs and expense analysis, suggest recommendations for continuous improvement and increasing cost/process efficiencies Outside of key large meeting, partner with internal teams to develop requests for proposals for their small meetings - work with third party on property sourcing, develop recommendation parameters and guidance on contract terms Qualifications: Must live in the Denver, CO area, hybrid work environment Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of two (2) year's event planning/coordination experience required, hotel experience preferred Must have experience executing events from beginning to end, full process including post-meeting reconciliation and wrap up Must be able to execute within deadlines and budgets Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with registration software required, Cvent experience preferred Travel Required, approximately 10% Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment and collaborate in a team environment Ability to manage heavy correspondence Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Accreditation a plus, but not required What We'll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
