Amex GBT is currently offering an exciting 12-week remote internship for a Meetings and Events Planning Intern. This hands-on opportunity is designed for detail-oriented and enthusiastic individuals eager to gain valuable experience in the meeting and event planning field. The internship provides interns with the chance to partner closely with an experienced event planning team, supporting the creation and execution of various event types including corporate conferences and virtual seminars. Flexible working hours allow interns to balance their academic commitments while acquiring practical skills. The salary range for this position is between $42,700 and $79,300, dependent on the candidate’s experience and the role's complexity.

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in hospitality management event planning marketing or related field
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with good eye for design
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with event management software like Cvent is a bonus
Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a remote team
