Meetings & Events Manager, Catering Sales (FT)

If you are an internal applicant, please log into Workday and apply for your application to be considered. • Actively prospect for new corporate and social catering business and utilize creative methods to close business while maintaining existing relationships with current accounts • Responsible for developing a sales strategy for achieving quarterly and yearly goals • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly solicitation goals • Create banquet event orders and resumes for all contracted events and distribute in a timely manner • Accurate and timely management of contracted deposit schedules and food and beverage minimums. • Ensure event details are accurate and entered into the sales and catering booking system • Attend banquet event order and resume meetings to communicate all changes and pop up events to operations team • Onsite contact between client and hotel team during events • Ability to creatively resolve guests concerns or challenges using business acumen skills and discretion. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day.
