Overview

Arch City Promotions is hiring an entry-level Nonprofit Event Manager to lead pop-up events for nonprofit organizations across Columbus. If you're just starting out, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want practical experience in event management, this role puts you in charge from the first planning meeting to the final load-out. You'll juggle schedules, budgets, and client expectations while making sure each event runs well and supports the cause behind it.

Responsibilities

Own pop-up events for nonprofit partners from early planning through post-event follow-up
Keep event timelines on track and nurture relationships with donors
Act as the primary contact for each nonprofit client
Direct on-site operations, including setup, the day-of schedule, and teardown
Work with teammates to make sure every event is fully staffed
Solve problems quickly when plans change
Lead post-event debriefs and collect feedback to make future events stronger

Qualifications

No event background needed. We'll train you, and we care most about motivation, organization, and attitude
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing several projects at the same time
Clear, friendly communication and a talent for building relationships
A calm, flexible approach when things shift on site
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach venues and events
Recent graduates are welcome to apply
