About the Role
Ampa Events is seeking an experienced Office Manager to work directly alongside the owner in overseeing daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organizational skills, operational oversight, and people management.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and solutions-oriented. You anticipate problems before they arise, build schedules that keep projects moving efficiently, and lead teams with accountability, consistency, and positivity.
This role is well-suited for an experienced operations or office management professional — including candidates returning to the workforce after a career break.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
Support daily business operations and company oversight
Develop and maintain internal systems, workflows, and procedures
Monitor labor hours, productivity, and operational efficiency
Assist with budgeting, reporting, and business communications
Identify operational improvements that reduce waste and increase efficiency
Scheduling & Logistics
Build and manage personnel, trucking, and equipment schedules
Coordinate repair, fabrication, and deployment timelines
Resolve scheduling conflicts proactively to maintain project deadlines
Occasionally assist with on-site event installations as needed
Human Resources & Team Management
Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee offboarding
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance
Foster a respectful, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture
Communicate policies and expectations clearly and consistently
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Required
3–5+ years of experience in office, operations, or business management
Experience with HR processes, employee management, and scheduling
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing labor hours, budgets, and operational workflows
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Ability to independently pick up 50 - 70lbs
Ability to drive a box truck, preferred.
Must have flexible schedule to work nights and weekends as needed.
Experience in live events, event production, entertainment, logistics, or field services
Ability to lead creative and non-traditional teams effectively
Calm, positive leadership style under deadline pressure
Salary: $43,000 - $52,500
