On-Call Catering Event Team Member

TISOY CURRYATIVE CUISINES is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who want to earn extra income by working catered events throughout Southern California. This is a part-time, event-based position with no guaranteed weekly schedule. It is ideal for someone who already has a job, attends school, or simply wants flexible weekend and occasional weekday hours. What You’ll Do: • Assist with loading, unloading, setup and breakdown • Prepare and organize food-service equipment • Maintain clean and presentable service areas • Replenish food and supplies during service • Assist guests with friendly, professional service • Wash dishes and complete general cleaning duties • Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures • Work closely with the chef and catering team What We’re Looking For: • Reliable, punctual and ready to work • Able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment • Strong teamwork and communication skills • Takes initiative without needing constant direction • Professional appearance and positive attitude • Comfortable standing for extended periods • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds • Reliable transportation to event locations • Weekend availability is strongly preferred Schedule: This is an on-call, event-based position. Most events take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional weekday opportunities. Shifts and locations vary depending on our event schedule. Team members may accept shifts based on their availability, but once a shift is accepted, attendance and punctuality are required. Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years old • California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained before the first scheduled event • Catering, restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Attire: Catering events require a black long-sleeve button-up shirt, black dress pants and black non-slip shoes. Additional uniform details will be provided upon hire.
