The Youth Development and Support Specialist plays a critical role in the implementation of BCYL’s mission to provide youth with sports, educational, and civic direction. This position focuses on creating and facilitating restorative interventions and supporting staff in the development of positive interactions with participants. The specialist will work closely with the Director of Sports to ensure effective support and guidance are provided to participants, staff, and families in alignment with BCYL's values and Code of Conduct. • Support BCYL staff in building their capacity to implement restorative interventions and positive interactions with participants, staff, and families. • Assist in the development and documentation of social environment best practices.
