Overview We are seeking an energetic, Onsite Event Manager to oversee the daily operations of our farm events and activities. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our events run smoothly, our vendors are well-supported, and our guests enjoy an exceptional experience. The ideal candidate is outgoing, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate all farm events, including seasonal festivals, private parties, weddings, and vendor markets. Manage catering orders, private party requests, wedding bookings, and vendor onboarding for our markets. Supervise farm staff, including farm hands, seasonal employees, and temporary help. Delegate and coordinate farm tasks such as ordering inventory, properly storing supplies, and maintaining catering/event equipment (tables, chairs, etc.). Ensure all equipment and event areas are set up, clean, and put away according to farm standards. Maintain and regularly update the farm’s website and social media platforms with fresh content, event updates, and marketing campaigns. Support and execute marketing initiatives, including social media engagement, email campaigns, and vendor outreach. Uphold and enforce farm systems, standards, and safety protocols to ensure smooth event operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, vendors, and staff on event days. Assist with light to moderate manual labor including event setup/breakdown, moving supplies, and overseeing farm spaces. Monitor farm maintenance needs and coordinate with owners/contractors as needed. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Minimum 5 year + Experience in event planning, hospitality, or operations management (farm or agritourism experience a plus). Strong leadership and delegation skills with experience managing teams. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and basic website updates (WordPress or similar). Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods. Outgoing and people-oriented, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and peak event days. Must live within 30 minutes of Lake Pickett Farm (required). Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
