Force Detroit is building capacity for community violence interruption (CVI) in Detroit. Community violence intervention has the ability to change this. Core responsibilities for this position include: • Plan, organize, and execute community engagement events, including barbeques, basketball tournaments, mural painting, and other activities that promote community building and violence prevention. • Familiarity with the Detroit community and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities related to community violence intervention. Experience: • Events management: 1 year (Preferred) • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
