Overview The Houston Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization is looking for a well-organized, pro-active, service orientated person with excellent social skills and an energetic, hands-on and enterprising mentality. We offer an exciting part-time opportunity where you can learn and grow from entrepreneurs. The Chapter Administrator/Event Planner is responsible for the daily operations of specific chapter programs, including assisting with the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of memorable, high quality events for the EO members that enhance member value. • This creative and detail oriented role supports everything from intimate gatherings to large scale celebrations, working cross functionally to ensure flawless execution and memorable outcomes. or related field is preferred • 2+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service • Well-versed in organization and planning, could adapt well under pressure and prioritize naturally • Values personal relationships and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented • Proactive, energetic and possess a positive outlook • Able to understand, act as a success partner, and confidently support high achieving, ambitious entrepreneurs • A dynamic team player who enjoys working in a diverse, global environment • Requires very minimal supervision and takes initiative in an autonomous work setting • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events • Reliable and competent in handling confidential, sensitive information with utmost care • Identifies with EO’s core values of Boldly Go!, Thirst for Learning, Make a Mark, Trust and Respect and Cool.
