Position Overview:

We’re seeking a personable, organized, and hospitality-focused Events Coordinator to help manage and grow our dynamic event offerings. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys the fast-paced world of event planning and execution, with a passion for spirits and cocktail culture. You’ll be the main point of contact for event inquiries, responsible for marketing our event space, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that every event held at Old Log Cabin Distillery is a memorable experience. Hours per week will vary depending on required activities for that week. Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Event Sales & Coordination:

Respond to event inquiries and guide clients through the booking process
Market and promote our unique event venue to individuals and event planners
Develop relationships with community groups, vendors, and local partners to grow event bookings
Assist in creating promotional materials and social media content highlighting the event space

Event Planning & Execution:

Manage all aspects of events, including setup, day-of coordination, scheduling and managing event staff and breakdown
Serve as the on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
Collaborate with the distillery team to integrate tastings, tours, and cocktail offerings into event packages

Qualifications:

Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours depending on event schedules
A customer-first mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of craft spirits and cocktails, with a willingness to learn about the distillation process
Comfortable using email, calendars, and basic event management tools
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
MAST license required
Reliable transportation
Willingness to maintain cleanliness and uphold venue standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
