Part-Time Event Planner

The Creative Planners We’re seeking a part-time Event Planner who is passionate about luxury weddings, exceptional service, and creating seamless, unforgettable experiences for our clients. Plan and coordinate weddings and events from concept through execution · Attend and support client and vendor meetings (primarily daytime) · Creative style to bring fresh and new ideas to the design of events · Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and vendors · Develop and execute detailed timelines, production schedules, and event logistics · Manage vendor coordination and ensure seamless information flow across all parties · Oversee event setup, styling, and breakdown with a strong eye for design and detail Prior event planning or hospitality experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a polished, professional presence Ability to remain calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented under pressure Availability on weekends – not all but it is required Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Chicago & the North Shore Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility is key, as weekly hours and schedules may vary depending on event needs.
