Part-Time Event Specialist

Looking for a part-time job that isn't boring?

River Valley Remodelers is looking for outgoing, dependable, and energetic people to join our Events Team!

As a Part-Time Event Specialist, you'll represent River Valley Remodelers at home shows, fairs, festivals, community events, and other events throughout the area. You'll work alongside a fun team, talk with event attendees, help generate leads, and assist with setting up and taking down our event displays.

No remodeling or sales experience is required — we'll train you!

This is a great opportunity for high school students, college students, or anyone looking for flexible part-time/weekend work who enjoys being around people and wants to earn some extra money.

What You'll DoWork Events

Greet and talk with people attending events
Represent River Valley Remodelers in a friendly and professional way
Share basic information about our home remodeling services and current promotions
Help interested homeowners submit their information for a free estimate
Work alongside other Event Team members to keep the booth active, welcoming, and organized
Help keep promotional materials and giveaways stocked throughout the event

Event Setup & Breakdown

Help load, unload, and transport event materials
Set up tents, tables, signage, displays, promotional materials, and other event equipment
Keep our event space clean, organized, and professional
Break down displays and equipment after events
Pack and organize supplies in our event trailer

Who We're Looking For

You do NOT need previous sales, marketing, event, or remodeling experience.

We're looking for people who are:

Friendly and comfortable talking with new people
Dependable and show up when scheduled
Positive, energetic, and willing to learn
Comfortable working as part of a team
Able to work weekend events and occasional evenings
Willing to help with both working the booth AND event setup/breakdown
Comfortable being on their feet during events

High school and college students are encouraged to apply!

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, athletics, clubs, volunteering, marketing, or events is a plus — but not required.

Ability to drive a truck with an enclosed trailer is also a plus, but not required.

Pay & Perks

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour

PLUS the opportunity to earn additional bonuses for qualified appointments generated at events.
