This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, event management, and customer service, looking to contribute to a dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating event logistics, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event operations. About you • 3+ years of experience in event planning and execution • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency with Hubspot or similar CRM tool • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences • Willingness to travel between San Antonio and Austin as needed Responsibility: What to expect when you come on board • Coordinate and assist with event planning, including venue setup, catering arrangements, and guest accommodations • Manage contracts with vendors, venues, and clients to ensure all terms are met • Support marketing efforts for upcoming events through promotional activities and outreach • Upsell additional services such as premium event features to maximize client satisfaction and revenue • Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after events • Assist in budgeting and tracking expenses related to events to ensure financial efficiency • Collaborate with catering teams, banquet staff, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution • Maintain organizational records of contracts, guest lists, and event details using effective time management skills • Support fundraising initiatives or special hospitality projects as needed Expected hours: 20.0 per week
