Party & Events Manager Position Summary
The Party & Events Manager is responsible for driving party and event sales, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and overseeing all aspects of birthday parties, group events, and special programs within the park. This role is responsible for increasing event revenue, maximizing upsells and add-ons, managing Party Hosts, and ensuring every event exceeds guest expectations.
The ideal candidate is energetic, sales-driven, highly organized, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests.
Essential ResponsibilitiesEvent & Party Sales
Drive birthday party, group event, and special event sales.
Conduct outbound sales calls and follow-up communications with leads and inquiries.
Respond promptly to event inquiries through phone, email, and online channels.
Increase event revenue through upselling party packages, food and beverage options, decorations, attractions, and add-ons.
Monitor booking trends and develop strategies to increase event volume and average party value.
Maintain accurate event records and guest communications.
Event Operations
Oversee execution of all birthday parties, group events, school events, corporate events, and special events.
Ensure party rooms are prepared and set according to company standards.
Coordinate with Guest Services, Court Monitors, and Fuel Zone teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Conduct pre-event reviews and post-event evaluations.
Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Ensure all events start and end on schedule.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, coach, and develop Party Hosts.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
Create staffing plans based on event volume.
Hold team members accountable for service standards and performance expectations.
Foster a positive, energetic, and guest-focused work environment.
Guest Experience
Ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
Personally engage with party parents, organizers, and event guests.
Monitor party host interactions and guest satisfaction.
Encourage and collect guest reviews and feedback.
Address concerns immediately to prevent escalation.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Partner with the marketing team to promote events and special programs.
Build relationships with schools, youth groups, sports teams, businesses, and community organizations.
Assist with local outreach and event marketing initiatives.
Support park-wide promotional events and membership programs.
Financial Performance
Meet or exceed monthly party and event revenue goals.
Increase average party spending through effective upselling strategies.
Track event performance metrics and provide regular reporting.
Monitor labor costs and staffing efficiency.
Ensure proper handling of event deposits, payments, and financial procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, entertainment, sales, or customer service management preferred.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Sales-focused mindset with a proven ability to drive revenue.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event management systems.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to move throughout the facility during events and peak business periods.
